We will take you past the well-known Daintree Tea Plantation, past breathtaking mountains, and through the breathtaking World Heritage Rainforest as we pass Cape Tribulation and continue along the 4WD Bloomfield Track through to pristine Emmagen Creek. Stop 5: Wildlife Spotting and Freshwater Swim. Billy Tea Safaris is the only tour company that visits this undiscovered “Jewel in the Rainforest,” and it’s time for a revitalising swim in a rainforest stream with fresh water that is crystal clear and uncrowded.
Cape Tribulation Beach is our sixth stop. We arrive there after the majority of the tourists have left and stroll along the boardwalk and beach to the photographers’ platform that overlooks the mountains and coast where “the Rainforest Meets the Reef.”
On our way home, we make a pit stop at the Daintree Ice-Cream Company for delicious homemade ice cream. (Ice cream is an extra charge.)
